We are making more room for a better retirement. Our new Cottage Homes will be part of a new neighborhood setting we are building here at Covenant Living of the Great Lakes. Designed to reflect the characteristics of a classic neighborhood setting, our new Cottage Homes will be located along beautifully landscaped streets and will feature spacious floorplans, welcoming front porches, wide sidewalks and private garages, giving the best of both community and independent living. The distinctive neighborhood setting will combine exceptional privacy with easy access to common areas and gathering spaces making socializing fun and convenient.
Our new cottage homes will feature beautiful Two-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom plus Den residences, all including finely appointed features like large kitchens and open floor plans. Plus, as the first residents, you will have the choice of a number of options to personalize your new home the way you want to.
With full access to all the amenities at this community including multiple dining options, fitness studio, indoor pool, game/social areas, meeting spaces as well as Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Care should you ever need it. It's Feature Friday! 🎬⛸️
Looking back at Chuck and Donna Burke's apartment at Covenant Living of Northbrook where you could find a lifetime of speed skating memorabilia. Chuck competed in the 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics (his USA team coat still fits!), while Donna was a North American champion in her own right. 🏅
Married 65 years and both former Chicago-area coaches, the two remain tied to the sport they love, still cheering on Team USA every time the Winter Olympics roll around.
A gold-medal love story, on and off the ice. 💙
